How Did We Do It?
First, we chose the breeds. We wanted to include as many as possible to make this book available for everyone, so we settled on 50. Yes, you read that correctly – 50 breeds!
Don’t have a breed at home, but adorable little mixed rascal? Some of us here at Hooray Heroes do too. That’s why you’ll be able to customise a mixed breed as well, based on the body type of your dog and their fur colour.

This custom book for dogs is written from your dog’s perspective, capturing the special moments, playful adventures, and deep bond you share. We quizzed all dog owners we could and collected top 18 stories that we feel most dogs could have in a book about them. These include begging for food, stealing your spot on the couch, following you around, being jealous, and more!
Once the poems were written by Ryan, Jeremy, our storyboard artist, sketched the stories. When the sketches were confirmed, Jeremy colour blocked it. Then, our rendering artists took over and did their magic with colours, rim lights and shading.
We still need to finish personalising all the breeds into all the illustrations, but before you know it, you’ll be able to get your very own book!
